I really hope you do write more about the story of this quilt and your thoughts while making it. The quilt itself is breathtaking and I can tell it contains multitudes, and not just thread. Congratulations :)
It's absolutely gorgeous! I just took up embroidery last month after being intimidated by it for many years so I am extra appreciating all those beautiful details! Crossing my fingers for rain for you in Oregon, and for us here in Colorado. It's already been stressful re: fire threat this year and i am tired.
Omg you finished it!!! It’s so Gorgeous. Congratulations! I feel inspired to pick up something from my giant mountain of unfinished projects. Or even better I could start a quilt project that I’ll never finish! 😂
The appliquéd lion was an unfinished project from 7 years ago that had been sitting, forgotten, in a basket. I vote for picking up an unfinished project. 👍
OMG. Congratulations, Carson. Stunning! What a beautiful creative offering to such a difficult period in our lives. It holds so much; I look forward to your words after the time you are and will be giving to integrating the experience. Your thoughts can only be profound and a resource for us all. Thank you.
How wonderful Carson! Congratulations on bringing this beautiful quilt to completion! I do hope you share your thoughts behind it when they have formulated for you. xx
So tempted to fly down to San Fran Frisco for this! I think I still have a free room in the Sunset and that may clench it. It'd be so nice to see Oakland again.....
I wanted to share with you that I recently lent my mom my Wildwood books only to have her call me later to let me know she wouldn’t be returning them because she loves the illustrations so much. Of course I was delighted that she loves them as much as I do and look forward to getting myself new copies. The covers are so beautiful!
It is absolutely stunning, Carson. Congrats on finishing!

Wishing you lots of rain out there in the rockies.

I'd be honored if anyone travelled to see this. And having just been in Oakland, I can confirm it's really nice there.
My home town. Sadly, I can't make it as I learned that my free room is unavailable and hoo-boy those plane ticket prices have gone up this year!
So so so cool! And excited to see it at the gallery!
Wow, seeing the full circle moment is more emotional than I anticipated - thank you for sharing!
❤️
OMG! I love it. Amazing!
Congratulations!! That is quite the feat.
