Natural dye: if you have $$$, the dye classes at Wildcraft in Portland are pretty great - the ones I've taken, you can bring your own fabric and go wild during independent practice time.
Sara Buscaglia (@farmandfolk on Instagram) has a beautiful book called Quilt Alchemy about natural dying specifically for quilts. Her work is gorgeous and she is a meticulous dyer!
I enjoyed reading about your quilting, especially about your sewing machine and getting it repaired. My husband bought me a fancy lamp for drawing (at my request) and my cat chewed through the cord. I asked the company if they could repair it (I would be happy to pay) and they said no, try a local place. Local place said they can't repair it. There's an organization in NC called Repair Café and I'm going to try there next. I could probably buy a new one but I am also extremely stubborn about these things.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful work with us! Have you ever attended the Sister's Quilt Festival? So many stunning quilts are on display all over town, and the park is dedicated to displaying quilts.
Beautiful 😍
Beautiful work and such an invitation to slow down! Thank you
crazy good stuff .. WoW stuff .. love the art of the quilt .. we have a ‘pirate/music themed quilt here.. to die for
Loved this! Went to IG too. Probably my favorite quilting is white on white, showing the quilting stitches. So I adore your quilt backs.
the quilt backs are my favorites!
The fronts of your quilts are stunning, but for some reason, I find your quilt-backs breathtaking...

There's such beauty to your quilts! I don't know much about the process of quilting, but I love how much meaning these pieces hold.
Lovely article. Thanks for sharing

Loved seeing all these and your process 😍😍 my MIL is a master quilter, someday when I have more time (lol) I want to learn with her.
As an amateur hand-quilter this is so inspiring 😍 thank you for sharing it
