I loved seeing you paint! The video was longer than I could watch (home with my 4 year old) but I skipped around to watch various parts and it was so cool.

I watched the whole video and enjoyed it a lot. I always have a compulsion to outline everything when I paint or draw and I would like to get away from that, so this was very helpful.
Just off the cuff for a photoshop idea for your pencil lines: you already have the sketch in digital form on your iPad, so open it in PS. Use a method such as color range or RGB Channel selection to create a selection of only the sketch lines and not the background. Modify that selection until it includes all the sketch and even a few pixels around it is fine too. Then use Content Aware fill to let the AI fill it in. This is like the Spot Healing Brush, but all in one go and not brushing. Even when it doesn't work 100% perfectly to taste, it usually gives a nice head start. And anything that didn't work you can just selection again and try again.
Hi Carson! I loved watching the entire thing. I live for longer painting demo. I also wanted to add that I lightbox my sketch with a col-erase pencil. I have a blue and red one. 9 times out of 10 it disappears right into my painting and it can still be erased just like normal pencil. Also if I press lightly, it’s easier to see than a normal pencil.
Love the length and pace! I find it very soothing and I prefer that over painting tutorials that speed it up for too much of it and cut steps. Thank you!! 😊
It’s long, but I like playing longer videos like that in the background while I read or relax. I’m big on ASMR - even when it’s unintentional! Watching you make art is right up that alley.
Oh man I loved this. I love the speed of the tutorial, nice and easy.
I do my sketches in a peach coloured pencil and they almost always disappear right into my gouache work. Sometimes I roll a gummy eraser over the sketch as well before painting if I’m working with a lighter palette. Works like a charm!
This was amazing! I loved watching you paint and listening to your commentary about your thought process, gouache tips, and bird neighbors. Thanks for sharing :)
I enjoyed this a lot - thank you! It was longer than I could watch (work and little ones hindering!) but as others have said I skipped around and watched various parts. I also loved looking at the other drawings #slowpokespringline!

It’s real and perfect 💫 thanks for honoring the whole process and I believe it should be part of the slow vibe, not to speed it up ;)

Not too long for me. Loved watching your whole process!

Loved the video, it was not too long and I watched the whole thing! I enjoy the commentary and hearing your thought process along the way.
I watched as I worked on my own freelance work. I enjoyed the company. :)
watched in entirety while drawing! great company during the work day. really loved this
I personally love longish videos while knitting, because they keep me from getting distracted and picking up my phone. Thank you for sharing!
Loved it thanks! Love long videos, but some of the quieter, slower parts can be on 8x speed perhaps?
