I recently finished illustrating an edition of Rumpelstiltskin by my friend Mac Barnett. Hallelujah! This book comes out in spring of 2026. That may seem like a long time from now, but it’s pretty typical. Generally there is at least a year between the day you finish up a picture book and the day it goes on sale.
